taking a digital walk with pictures

This plaque marks the BEGINNING of the Walk...


getting started and acquainted with our surroundings
look around to make sure you have found the correct spot.
If you're standing near the large attraction below
you're in the right spot...



we'll begin traveling west...look for the faces!!
some wonderful friends from theaters past...


looking back...


The Shemanski Fountain...
one block west of starting point...

traveling South we find one of
our founding fathers Abe Lincoln...

a honorable man of honorable deeds...

continue south through the park...
you will come to wonderful statue of Theodore Roosevelt...


while walking south if you turn to the west you
will see St James Church est. 1890...


a beautiful display of Portland's old culture...


continuing south through the park blocks
our journey takes us to The Peace Plaza...

...if you see the PSU sign it's time to turn left...


...looking up at the Lincoln Hall...


...secret sign...


...looking back another time and bending space...


...continuing East...


...look for the top of the Ira Keller Fountain...


...a silent fountain in the fall...


..."strength and beauty come from us, not from tyranny"...
